Clock Tower Self Catering Cottage - Northumberland

This perfect family holiday accommodation is situated within the grounds of 14th Century Ford Castle, in part of a converted stable block, the Clock Tower Cottage is a selfcatering holiday let which can accommodate up to eight people and consists of:

Downstairs:

• Sitting room/dining room with colour TV + DVD
• Fully-fitted kitchen
• Bunk bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet

Upstairs:

• One bunk bedroom
• One 4 bedded room
• Shower room/toilet

The cottage would suit a family or small group. It has its own small enclosed garden which is safe for children. Parking is immediately adjacent to the cottage. Guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the castle's extensive grounds and gardens. TV with DVD, fridge freezer, cooker and microwave are provided. From the kitchen there are spectacular views across the castle courtyard to the distant Cheviot Hills. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. Cleaning materials are provided and laundry facilities are available on site.

The property offers guests a non-smoking environment. Unfortunately we are unable to allow pets.

The Cottage is furnished to a comfortable standard and is graded 3 Star under the Tourist Board quality assurance scheme.

Ford Village has a Post Office / general store.

Wooler, 8 miles south on the A697 offers a wider range of shops. The nearest payphone is located on the main road, left out of the castle’s main entrance.

Guests are requested not to take up occupancy before 2.00 p.m. Departure times can be flexible depending upon arrival time of next guests. Our office can advise.

The Clock Tower Cottage can be hired on a self-catering basis only, for a minimum stay of 2 nights. Prices are inclusive of heating, bed linen and VAT.
