Our first aid course tutor Graham Little has over 30 years experience of First Aid and has been a First Aid Trainer for the last 10 years. With nearly 30 years experience of working with young people and outdoor activities he is both well qualified and experienced to deliver First Aid Training for you and or your group/organisation/company. Appointed Person - 4 hours (very basic course, all indoors)

Emergency First Aid Course - 16 hours (indoors and outdoors)

Course recommended for those people who organise trips or work in the outdoors, or run events in a non-urban environment.

Your own specific one or two day course can be organised (min. no. 10), one day courses start from £55

Standard First Aid at Work – 4 day course (indoors and outdoors)

Recommended course for the designated first aider in the work place, where employee numbers require such a person.

• Asthma, epilepsy and diabetes
• Stroke, chest pain
• Stretcher lifts
• Written examination
• Practical examinations by external assessors

General Information:

• First Aid is a practical subject. The courses are designed with in mind and are therefore 80% practical
• Training is interactive incorporating a number of modern teaching techniques
• Health and Safety Executive approved
• Acceptable to all Outdoor and Sport National Governing Bodies
• Maximum trainer ratio 1:12
• Maximum student ratios for working with manikins 2:1
• Courses are the property of ITC (Immediate Temporary Care), which is in professional partnership with Craven College. This partnership provides quality assurance and monitors all Trainers
• All Trainers revalidate on an annual basis

Note:- An additional charge of £30, to cover travel time and expenses, will be levied per session if the course is held at your site.
